To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.

Daring do.....smiles.
Daring, yes. Scary to post - I must admit! But I'm hoping it's just daring enough for people to take notice, and ask why... It's a month for wearing red, and drawing attention to women's heart health. I have a heart condition. And I'd like to be around for a while... So join with me this month - and Go Red!
A hauntingly beautiful reminder, Amanda.
